By creating an account, using an API key, or otherwise accessing Goma (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Goma provides an API that returns structured, publicly available LinkedIn profile data for a profile URL you submit, plus a dashboard to manage API keys and credits. The Service is provided "as is". Third-party platforms can change at any time, which may affect what data is available or how the Service works.
Each account may run up to 5 concurrent requests. Requests beyond the limit, or traffic that degrades the Service for others, may be rejected (for example with HTTP 429) or throttled. Contact us if you need higher throughput.
You are responsible for how you use the data you receive. You agree to:
Goma does not provide legal advice. Consult your own counsel about whether your use complies with the law and with third-party platform terms.
You may not:
The Service, including its software, API design, documentation, and website, is owned by Goma. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data returned will be complete, accurate, or current.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOMA IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold Goma harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or of any law, or any outreach you conduct using data obtained through the Service.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including for hosting, infrastructure, and payments (Stripe). We are not responsible for their availability or practices, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to Goma, other users, or third parties. If we terminate your account for a breach, unused credits are forfeited. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.
We may update the Service and these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Goma about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
